Epoxy floor paint is a floor decoration with epoxy resin as the main raw material. When epoxy floor is applied with epoxy resin floor paint, there are many situations. There are direct construction on new floors and construction on old floors after treatment. There are certain differences in the treatment methods of the two:
Epoxy floor
(1) For new floors: Generally speaking, leveling, calendering, finishing, and covering with film, generally after a week, the sealing curing agent can be applied. The new floor can be directly constructed on the cast wear-resistant floor, but it also needs a seven-day maintenance period, and then the curing agent is applied, and it can be polished after another day.
(2) For old floors: First, grind the floor until the sand is exposed. Add water continuously during grinding. After grinding, wait until the surface is dry, spray the curing agent, and then polish.
The basic construction process of epoxy floor paint:
(1) Base treatment: Grind off the loose layer, delamination and cement residue to make it hard and flat and increase adhesion;
(2) Primer construction: After the primer is prepared, roll, scrape or brush it to fully wet the concrete and penetrate into the inner layer of the concrete;
(3) Middle coat construction: Mix the middle coat material with an appropriate amount of quartz sand and use a trowel to trowel it into a flat and dense layer of a certain thickness;
(4) Top coat filling: The top coat material is mixed with quartz fine powder to fill the gaps between the larger particles of the middle coat. After it is completely cured, use a dust-free grinder to grind it and use a vacuum cleaner to remove all dust;
(5) Top coat construction: After the epoxy paint and curing agent are mixed evenly, trowel, brush, roll or spray it to make it level and obtain a flat and uniform surface.
